After the dry

Dry trimming, once the flower has settled.

Dry trimming is the pass that happens after flowers have been dried. Remaining leaf comes off the buds you already carried through the dry room.

A lighter hand

Dried flowers are no longer full of water. Leaf snaps. Trichomes sit on the outside of something that can be knocked around if the table is careless. The pace is often slower than a wet trim, and the mess is a different kind of mess: small, dry, and easy to scatter.

We take off the leaf you still want gone and we stop where you said to stop. Some growers want a tight, neat bud. Some want more leaf left on. That preference is the standard. We do not replace it with ours.

Where it sits in the harvest

You dry first. We trim after that, on the dates we agree to. If the dry runs long or short, the trimming window moves with it. Tell us. A dry trim that starts before the flower is actually ready is a worse job, not a faster one.

Wet trimming is our specialty because it has to happen in a narrow slice of time. Dry trimming is a full service beside it, not a fallback we talk people out of. If you are deciding between the two, say so on the form and we will talk through the tradeoffs for your room without pretending one method always wins.

What to include

City, expected weight if you have it — and whether that number is wet weight or dry weight — plus the day you think the flower will be ready to trim and the day you hope to be done. Notes about the finish, any strains you want handled differently, and how flexible the dates are will make the quote more useful.

Same boundary as the rest of the site: we trim. We do not sell cannabis, and we do not decide from a form alone that every kind of grower can hire the crew. That conversation happens with the quote.
