Privacy policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Michigan Trimmers. For privacy questions, email [email protected]. The legal entity name should match the business that actually receives these inquiries. If that name differs from “Michigan Trimmers,” this page will be updated before launch.

What the quote form collects

If you request a quote, we collect the details you submit: name, email, phone, Michigan city or town, trimming type, harvest-size estimate, expected dates, operation type if you provide it, and anything you write in the notes. We also record that you agreed we may contact you about the inquiry.

A hidden field is included to catch automated spam. Please leave it blank. We do not use it as a way to collect extra information about real visitors.

Why we collect it

We use the form to reply about trimming services: price, timing, location, and whether we can schedule a crew. We send you a confirmation that the inquiry arrived. That confirmation is about the request you just made. It is not a newsletter, and submitting the form does not put you on a marketing list.

Who processes it

The message is delivered by email through Resend, a transactional email provider. Resend processes the message so it can reach [email protected] and so the confirmation can reach you. Their handling of that message is covered by their own privacy terms as our processor.

If the spam check is enabled, the form loads Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare receives a token and technical information from your browser to decide whether the submission looks automated. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for that check. If Turnstile is not configured, the form relies on the hidden spam field and a limit on repeated submissions instead.

The site is hosted so it can be served on Cloudflare’s network. Network information such as an IP address may be processed briefly to deliver the page, deliver the form, and slow down repeated submissions. We do not build marketing profiles from it, and we do not add your IP address to the quote email.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not run advertising cookies or analytics cookies on this site. We do not ask for payment details, government ID, or a street address on the form.

How long we keep it

Inquiry emails are kept long enough to respond, schedule work if you hire us, and keep ordinary business records of the request. We delete them when they are no longer needed for those purposes. There is no fixed public retention clock on this page, because a scheduled job and a one-time question are not the same record.

Your requests

Email [email protected] if you want to know what we still have from your inquiry, correct a detail, or ask us to delete the request. If we have already used the information to perform a job, we may need to keep the related business record. We will tell you if that is the case.

Children

This site is a business service for growers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If the form, the email provider, or the spam check changes in a way that matters, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
